DESPERATE FAITH
Sunday 23 November –
Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe
O’ Lord, You are eternal hope and the One who freely chose
to take on our sins for the sake of salvation.
Lord, You remember all, especially the outcasts who speak
with a dying breath and a desperate faith.
Praise to the God of Liberation!
O’ Lord, could it be possible for me to model the desperate
faith of Dismas who humbly repented?
Lord, You remain history’s quintessential standard of
heroism that goes far beyond any man’s attempt to replicate.
Glory to the Numen of Mankind!
O’ Lord, it is with a broken heart that I gaze upon Your
crucified body and I stare in disbelief with those who refused to flee.
Lord, you are the locus of power even in Your most desperate
time , remaining faithful to Hashem, the Father Almighty.
Praise to the Innocent Sacrifice!
O’ Lord, that irrevocable and scared choice to die for us
and afford us a spectacular life can never be altered.
Lord, Your mercy endures from the hill of Golgotha and Your
love for us and all creation remains unchallenged.
Glory to the Celestial Forbearance!
O’ Lord, steady our resolve with an unwavering faith when we
are faced with difficulties beyond our abilities.
Lord, help us to fulfill our quests with similar dignity and
resolve when our time comes and we commit our spirits to thee.
Praise to the Apex of Love!
The
Pilgrim
